The Artek Home comes to Seoul in November 2026
An immersive installation invites a Korean audience to experience a Finnish perspective on everyday living.
Taking place at Studio Haae in Namyeong-dong from 13 to 29 November 2026, the Artek Home presents a lived-in home environment which explores how thoughtful design can enrich daily life and how Finnish ideas of home and wellbeing can resonate within a Korean context.
To enter the Artek Home is to step into a lived-in environment inspired by the design philosophy of Aino and Alvar Aalto. Natural materials are valued for their human qualities, and every object is chosen for its merging of function and beauty.
Furniture, art, music, scent and refreshment engage the five senses in an exploration of what makes home living so meaningful. Together with a curated selection of likeminded creative partners, Artek presents an immersive experience inspired by the Nordic idea of "kaunis arki" – the beauty of the everyday.
Through thoughtful design and sensory experiences, The Artek Home demonstrates how beauty can be found in the small moments that make up daily life.
Visitors are welcome to reserve a time to visit via the online booking system.
