Artek and Moomin Characters are launching a global giveaway on Instagram (“giveaway”) that will run between 8 May – 23 May 2025.
The giveaway is organised by Artek and Moomin Characters and is not supported or sponsored by Instagram in any way.
Who can participate in the giveaway?
To qualify as a participant in the giveaway:
(i) you must be at least 16 years old
(ii) you have a valid Instagram and/or Facebook account (that you use for participating in the giveaway)
Artek reserves the right to verify the eligibility of the participants.
Giveaway period
The giveaway period is from 8 May 2025 at 10 a.m. to 22 May 2025 at 11:59 p.m. EET.
How to enter
The participants can enter the giveaway by following the below steps:
- Liking the post announcing the giveaway (a collaborative post involving @artekglobal and @moominofficial made on 8 May 2025)
- Tagging three valid Instagram (or Facebook) accounts in the comments section beneath the posts.
To be considered, participants must have completed these steps by 11.59PM on 22 May 2025. All steps must be completed in order to participate in the giveaway.
Selection of winner
There will be two winners from this giveaway. Both winners are the owners of the Instagram accounts who have 1) liked the post and 2) tagged three other accounts. The two winning entrants are each awarded one Stool 60 Celebration (from the Artek + Moomin collection).
The winners of the giveaway will be announced on 25 May 2025.
The winners will be contacted personally on Instagram via a direct message to the Instagram account used by the participant for participating in the giveaway. If the winner does not reply to the message (or provide Artek with the requested home address) within fourteen (14) days, Artek reserves the right to select another winner.
Following the selection of the winners, the Prize will be delivered to the selected winners by mail to the address provided by the winners to Artek.
Miscellaneous
By participating in the giveaway, the participant’s Instagram handle can be posted on Artek’s Instagram.
Artek reserves the right, at any time, to disqualify any participant not qualified to participate in the Campaign under these Terms and Conditions as well as to disqualify and delete from Artek’s Instagram pages any comments that are inappropriate, offensive, sexual or discriminatory (as determined by Artek).
Artek shall be responsible for all taxes related to the giveaway. However, note that the winner of the giveaway may be liable to pay income or other taxes for receiving the prize. All taxes applicable on receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner, who shall be responsible for submitting any applicable tax reports or other forms required by any tax authority.
Failure by Artek to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
The prize cannot be exchanged to cash or exchanged to other products.
Artek reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or without notice to cancel or amend the giveaway, the prize, timing of the giveaway or any other matter affecting the giveaway. Artek is not liable for any damages or costs incurred by the participant in relation to participating in the giveaway.

The Campaign is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. By participating in the giveaway, the participant agrees to release and hold Instagram harmless from any direct or indirect liability, claim or damage arising from the giveaway.
