Sharing a distinctive aesthetic and characteristic short arms, Domus chairs are both functional and versatile. Created by designer Ilmari Tapiovaara as part of a series of furniture for students at the Domus Acadamica student housing in Helsinki, Finland, both the Domus Chair and Domus Lounge Chair are comfortable enough to allow sitting for long periods of time. Designed in 1946, over the years numerous Domus Chairs have been placed in homes and public spaces around the world.
