Eero Saarinen vowed to address the "ugly, confusing, unrestful world" he observed underneath chairs and tables - the so-called "slum of legs." A five-year design investigation led him to the revolutionary Tulip Collection. The Tulip pedestal collection was designed in 1957.

Tulip Tables – construction and details

Tables are available in white laminate, coated marble in a wide range of colours and veneer. Top in acrylic stone is for outdoor use.

Base: Original Saarinen design. Heavy moulded cast aluminium. Black and white bases are protected with Rilsan.

Dining tables are manufactured in several sizes: Ø 91, 107, 120, 137, 152 cm.

Oval table top: 198 x 121 cm and 244 x 137 cm. 198 x 121 ja 244 x 137 cm.
