During the Design Miami and Art Basel in November 2009 Artek had a strong presence in Design + World exhibition organized by Luminaire. The 10-unit system designed by Shigeru Ban was presented in the exhibition. The 10-unit system is a continuation of Ban's studies in sustainable product development. The exhibition also included the new fragrance "Standard" by Artek Studio and Comme des Cargons. The architectural yet simple space with a delicate scent of forest, finnish labrador tea, twinflower linnea borealis and a hint of rust received a delighted response in Miami.
