At this year’s imm cologne Artek will show a product installation playing on the theme of Black & White. This is Artek’s first participation in the imm cologne since 2001, marking the company’s foundation for its planned European presence, which will also include the opening of a German subsidiary with headquarters in Berlin, scheduled for this year. The exhibition will be focusing on various versions of Ilmari Tapiovaara’s Domus chair. All products in this installation, including the Artek lighting collection and other furniture by Tapiovaara and Alvar Aalto, will be presented in black and white.
